A view of the Garden of Gods in Colorado Springs, CO. This is a spot I must revisit as i feel the weather did not cooperate with me. It was just too overcast and I went several times to see if I could get lucky but in the end the clouds here add to the drama.

If I look at real hard I can almost make out the shape of virgin Mary in it. It looks like there's a woman praying.

This shot was taken from an observation deck which is part of the natural caverns. I applied a tiltshift effect in phototools.

I had never heard of this place but once I was there it was a very popular place for the locals to take a stroll. There are paths that wind through the large rocks and in the distance you can see Pikes peak which has snow year round at the top. I did not get a chance to go up there since it was closed due to high winds.

There were tanks, choppers, jets, but I liked how they mounted and the rockets look like they are in motion. It was extremely windy. Work had to be done in post to mask in the clouds properly as there was a lot of movement in the sky.
