This is the ferris wheel which is right beside The Aquarium restaurant at downtown Houston. Taking pictures of the ferris is fun as there is various ways to compose it, there is merry go round beside it but getting then to spin at same time is difficult.

Shot from the top of a ferris wheel. It was very slow evening so I tipped the boy $10 to stop the wheel when I was at the top, but do to swinging motion I could only do one shot and made a pseudo hdr.

I'm pleased how this picture of downtown Houston came out. It was an unexpected find as I walked about and saw a near empty parking lot which overlooked a side of downtown I'd not seen before. What makes this image good is the reflections of the light bouncing off the buildings.

The Fountain at Waugh, right beside the bat cave. I have revisited this fountain several times to capture it at the right time and more often than not, its not running. A pink spot was applied using phototools plugin in photoshop to give it more movement.

Downtown Austin at Night. Just to the left of me was a famous statue and thought to include him but some how the reflections spoke more to me. I do plan to revisit this spot as I see potential for a shot but from further down the river.

The Penny Backer bridge in Austin, Tx. This particular bridge was of interest to me because the person who I look up to, Trey Ratcliff from stuckincustoms.com had visited this very same spot. To learn is to follow in the steps of a great person. I parked car along the road, hiked up a lil' trail and there she was. There is a lonely tree up there that many people add in their shots and in the future i think I will revisit this spot. I applied a tilt shift effect in post.

The Alamo just after a rain. During the hot summer months in Texas, scattered showers can occur very quickly and as quick as they come they leave. It rained for 5 minutes which left the streets soaked with water. I quickly setup my tripod and the moment was perfect, it was clear of tourists and was able to capture reflections of the Alamo. To me this image almost seems timeless. I applied a warm spot to it in post hoping it would give it a sense of history.
