  • Nikon D7000, Nikkor 14-24mm 2.8G, f8, ISO100, 21mm, HDR, 1 Exposure.<br /> A single exposure HDR lasting 40 sec, with minimal adjustments to balance the warmth color in clouds. I like this picture because it captures the moon rays which I've never been able to do. Believe it or not this is a night time shot right on south beach, Miami.

Even though the ship was moving there was enough light for me to shoot it at a quick enough shutter speed. I was thinking to myself, wow, this is what a sunset it like at open see! I need to try these cruise ships more often.

No venders, no restaurants, there was nothing there except blue skies and white sand beaches. Keep in mind its all man made. I wanted to find something to put in the foreground but its simple, there were no rocks, maybe next time i can coax a pretty girl to stand in the picture for me.

  • Nikon D7000, Nikkor 50mm 1.4G, f8, ISO100, 50mm, HDR, 5 Exposures.<br /> <br /> A view of Miami from the port, toned with photomatix pro then tilt shift effect applied with onone's focal point 2. Taken from my cabin while docked at port. The clouds were ever changing and seemed mystical and figured a tilt shift effect would add drama to it.
