  • John Chandler, the photographer. I've been taking pictures since I was 9 years old. Using a Nikon all my life. This is me returning from an art festival called Burning Man which out in a desert yearly. Its pretty insane as anything can happen out there and money is useless, you have to barter or bring what you need with you. Its q unique experience I recommend everyone do at least one. The create art and then burn it to the ground all while celebrating. Basically its a photographers paradise as there is so much to capture.

Taken at the Japan fest 2011. I really enjoyed watching these three martial artists perform as they never broke character. I gave it post process to give it a timeless feel as when I was watching this I truly felt like they took me back in time as I watched execute their moves in unison and with a ritualistic flow.

Every year the Bellaire Bunjinkan Dojo comes out to perform at the Japan Fest. Here you can see they are performing the ritualistic bow in ceremony. Leading the bow in is Sensei Brian Tritico.

  • Credit to this photo goes to Tim Hsu. I offer my modeling services from time to time and here I'm showcasing the CS strap which can holster a camera or a firearm. The strap is quite versatile. I think he was using a Canon Eos 5D with a 50mm lens. I now only use his straps as i find them vastly superior to anything else on the market and Tim is a true innovator and inventor, I consider it honor to work alongside him.

Trey Ratcliff, the international ambassador of HDR photography, taken during the SXSW in Austin in 2010. This is the man that taught me everything I know about HDR. Having met him in real life now several times I can tell you he is the real thing,a real gentleman and he constantly gives. He is totally selfless and is always willing to share his knowledge and insights. I highly recommend following him on G+ and facebook.
